Definition - Otherness

What is the Definition of otherness? It is the quality or state of being other or different, and that's exactly what I am. Now don't be afraid, i'm not a crazy non-conformist who dresses as differently as possible; nor do I spend many of my waking hours trying to do the opposite of what society tells me. All i'm saying is that there are many aspects of my life that are different from what the world thinks they should be.
